Crows are excellent bowlers but have a tendency to cheat on their scores. Scarecrows, when they’re not standing around in farmers’ fields scaring crows (for less than minimum wage), are more than happy to keep score for them (the crows, not the farmers, that is. Farmers can keep score for themselves).

Never offer a scarecrow a cola drink or a milkshake with a straw in it. Scarecrows have no sense of humor and will be deeply offended.
